Where are you?

We are located near Sherburn in Elmet in North Yorkshire, only a stones-throw from the A1 and M62, close to the beautiful towns of York, Leeds, Selby and only 40 minutes from Harrogate - known as the Gateway to the Dales.

If we come by train or bus is there a local pick up point?

Yes - trains from Leeds and York regularly stop in Sherburn in Elmet and Church Fenton and there is a good bus service there as well - we can arrange to pick you up from either at no extra cost.

Can I leave my car with you while we are away?

Yes - we have a secure garage/parking space for you to leave your car.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We are unable to take debit or credits cards at this time but welcome cash, PayPal or cheques (which must clear 14 days before your departure). Please contact us for further details

Do we need to pay a deposit?

Yes - a deposit of 25% is required to confirm your booking. We also ask for a returnable deposit of £150 when you start your hire from us - this is refunded when the camper is returned to us in the condition it was hired out.

How many people can the campers' sleep?

Dolly sleeps 2 plus 1 in cab bunk.

Lucy sleeps 2 plus 1 in cab bunk plus 1 in awning

Daisy Sleep 2 plus 1 in cab bunk plus one in roof hammock plus one in awning - please note the hammock is not designed for very small children and also not for young adults.

We can convert the two front seats to sleep another single person if required. Please email or call us for more detailed information - we may be able to deliver what you require.

Is Insurance Included?

Yes - fully comprehensive insurance for one named drive is included.

Are there any age restrictions?

Yes - the driver must be between 25 and 70 years old, with a full, clean driving licence - drivers with more than 6 points on their licence cannot be insured.

What time can the camper be collected?

11am on the day of start of hire and return by 4pm on the last day of hire.

Do you need my driving licence?

Yes - you must being your full driving licence (both photo and paper parts if you have one) and a utility bill and proof of your home address.

What can I bring to go in the camper?

You need to bring bedding and towels and anything else you need - you must remember that these are small vans so be sensible!!!

Where can I go in the camper?

We allow you to go anywhere in North Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, County Durham and Lincolnshire within a radius of 100 miles,

What happens if I breakdown?

All campers are fully covered by AA Breakdown cover - if it is not possible for the AA to repair then we will arrange to pick up the camper and substitute another one of the 'fleet' so you can carry on and enjoy your holiday.

What speed do they do?

Please bear in mind that these vans are between 30 and 40 years old - they cruise comfortably at 50mph - prolonged motorway driving at 60mph or more is not recommended.
